SOGA (St Mary’s Old Girls Association)

Our alumnae are an important and valued part of the St Mary’s community. Every girl who joins the school joins SOGA for life. They say, ‘Once a St Mary’s girl, always a St Mary’s girl’: easily identified by the many values that are formed at school – loyalty, kindness, modesty, spirituality and self-assurance being a few. Life-long friendships are made during the girls’ time at St Mary’s and we are very proud to have such a wide global network of alumnae who support the school.  Many of our alumnae send their own daughters back to St Mary’s and it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to educate generations of the same family.

We always welcome support from our alumnae for current St Mary’s pupils, both recent leavers and those who are current pupils in the school. Networking and connections are important in an increasingly competitive job market. We would invite you to share your expertise, inspire our girls and help them beyond St Mary’s while staying in touch with your contemporaries.

If you are not yet registered with SOGA and would like to be part of our alumnae network, please contact our Head of Alumnae, Dee Webb, at

If you can help by offering work experience, placements, internships, mentoring or come back to speak to our pupils on careers or further education please also contact

Finally, if you feel able to help financially and wish to give something back to the school, then there are a number of ways in which you can support us.
