A new face at St Mary’s

St Mary’s has a new Chef!  Taher Jibet is highly skilled and is passionate about food looking as great as it tastes.  From early training in his father’s Moroccan restaurant in Spain, to working at Marco Pierre White’s Michelin star The Mirrabelle, being executive head chef for the Gore Hotel and running his own restaurants in Dorset, Taher has a huge amount of experience.

Taher will continue the fantastic work being done in the St Mary’s kitchens to produce a temptingly wide variety of nutritious food, all freshly prepared from scratch.  They say an army marches on its stomach, and the same is true at St Mary’s!  Great food means plenty of energy on the sports pitch and focus and stamina in lessons.

Taher, whose favourite cuisine is anything aromatic and spicy, was born in Weymouth, and knows a lot about the dynamic ‘foodie’ scene in Dorset. He will continue to use the freshest local ingredients and we’re all delighted to welcome him to the school.
