Hewarth Donate to Scope

On Friday 18 October House Captains, Winnie D and Emily Y, and our original nominator of the charity Scope, IBK, visited the Scope UK shop in Gillingham to present a cheque for funds raised by Hewarth house.  This involved selling cookies at the Christmas Fair, selling recycled folders, running the skittles at the Dog Show, a sponsored walk and cake sales throughout the year. The charity representatives were delighted and said the money will go towards improving employment opportunities for disabled people.

Mrs Sanger’s Muddy Challenge

House Assistant, Mrs Sanger recently took part in Tisbury’s Mad Muddy Challenge, a 7.5km obstacle challenge, to raise money for local charity CLEVAH (Creating Learning Experiences aVailable At Hospital). CLEVAH was set up in honour of 15 year-old Maddy Cruxton who lost her 12 year battle against cancer and heart disease in 2015. Its mission is to help support play specialists and ward teachers to deliver exciting and creative experiences for chronically ill children who are in hospital. Well done Mrs Sanger!
